Recently, a number of local confirmed COVID-19 cases and asymptomatic infections have emerged in many provinces across the country, including Sichuan. Sichuan Provincial Emergency Response Headquarters for COVID-19 Outbreak has issued Announcement No. 17 to reduce the flow of gathering and make every effort to prevent the spread of the outbreak.

In response to the government's requirements on the prevention and control of the current epidemic, the Chengdu Motor Show 2021(CDMS 2021), originally scheduled to be held from 27 August to 5 September, 2021 at the Western China International Expo City, will be postponed. New dates for the show will be announced at a later time.
